Remixes

This remix by Gnawa musician and electronic explorer Khalil Mounji seamlessly blends our recordings of Ferqa Ahwach Agdz’s "Agdz" and Symphonie Lahcen Idhamou’s "TallouHt."

In his personal musical explorations, Khalil shares our passion for celebrating traditional music in harmony with digital remix art. This inspired him to download and remix the samples we've created from our recordings with Ferqa Ahwach Agdz and Symphonie Lahcen Idhamou, and partner with us to release this fair trade remix.

His deep understanding of Moroccan traditional music, along with his sophisticated ear for soundscapes and downtempo electronica, come together beautifully in this otherworldly remix.

All net proceeds will be split evenly between the remix artist, the traditional musicians, and Remix ⟷ Culture. For just $1 you can get your hypnotic groove on and invest in a new fair trade ecosystem.
